Based on the above title, these are my suggestions: To ensure that Queenstownians become fluent in the English Language, our school has already subscribed to magazines such as Present Perfect for Queenstownians to read. However, I feel that more can be done. For instance, English teachers can provide students with more grammar pratices to strengthen our grammar foundation as it is the first and most important step in ensuring our good command of the language. Teachers should also force students to write at least one essay per week. To ensure that students learn from their mistakes, the teacher may also help to correct the student's mistakes so that the student will know where he or she has gone wrong as some students are simply too lazy to approach the teacher to understand his or her mistakes. Besides that, teachers may also compile a list of words to replace commonly used words. This will ensure that students will be better writers and also motivate them to learn "better" words. Teachers can also give students a list of teachers-chosen books so as to ensure that students do not stick to one genre of books. The above suggestions may sound tedious but with time and patience, Queenstownians' English will definitely reach the Queen's standard (as per our teachers'hope and dream)!:D:P
