School Uniform-Pride or Fashion Disaster?

Based on our opinions, we both feel that wearing our school uniform is a kind of indescribable pride. Though the material our school uniform is made of is thick(wearing it is extremely uncomfortable)we feel very proud when we don our uniforms because it makes us feel that we truly belong to the school. Our uniform gives us a distinctive identity that makes us feel unique. Once, even though we were at Ang Mo Kio, people were able to recognise the school we came from! It gives us a sense of pride that our school uniform makes people recognise us and our school from afar. However we feel that the school uniform can be better designed. For instance, the material of the uniform can be reverted back to the material of the previous school uniform, as it is uncomfortable for students and extremely hot in sweltering weathers. The school can also organise a school uniform designing competition to decide how the uniform will look like. Parents, teachers, students and even the public can be invited to participate in the event. However, we do not feel that our school uniform is a fashion disaster. :)
