How can we make Queenstownians better users of English?

In my opinion, English is a subject that can not be learnt. English can only be improved by how we speak and listen. One way for Queenstownians to be better users of English is that the teachers in school should speak proper English. Teachers need not speak perfect English, however, they should mind their tenses and the use of words when they teach or give speeches. Another way is workshops for students to attend. Through these workshops, students are able to use proper English in a fun way like "Poetry Slam". These would also give a wider platform for students to know the different uses of English.
