How can we make Queenstownians better users of the English language?

We should be given more chance to speak in front of a huge audience, not just particular students who can speak 'proper' english or those with 'perfect' accent, but EVERYONE and ANYONE that belongs to our Queenstown family. It seems like many Queenstownians do not have the chance to speak infront of a huge crowd. Most of the time they only speak infront of the class if they have an assignment on speech. Teachers should give students more of such chances. This not only boosts ones confidence but also allow idividuals to improve on their English skills.

  1. Hi Clement. :D If you're talking about EVERYONE, there's at least a 100 of us in every level. How is the school going to organise so many grand occassions for every one to speak in front of a huge audience. Besides, if students can't even speak well in front of the class, how are they going to speak well in front of a large audience?
